HARP LESSONS
I am passionate about passing on my love for the harp and enjoy doing so by teaching private students.
My students receive the technique necessary to progress into masterful musicians, and are given frequent opportunities to perform. I foster an attitude of positivity in my studio, and believe firmly that every child can learn to play an instrument with confidence and skill.
I teach using the Suzuki Harp Method, a very common sense approach to learning music both by ear and by note reading. I am a registered teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and was trained in teaching by Mary Kay Waddington, the developer of the Suzuki Method for harp.
I also include aspects of the Russian Method in my teaching, having traveled abroad to research and study this method with some of its most famous harpists, Irina Zingg and Milda Agazarian.
